{"id":40956,"date":"2024-09-13T16:28:38","date_gmt":"2024-09-13T15:28:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=40956"},"modified":"2024-09-13T16:28:38","modified_gmt":"2024-09-13T15:28:38","slug":"project-to-help-cultural-and-heritage-organisations-commission-decarbonisation-work-call-for-expressions-of-interest-to-23-09","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=40956","title":{"rendered":"Project to help cultural and heritage organisations commission decarbonisation work: Call for Expressions of Interest to 23\/09"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogsnew.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Climate_Change_Open_Gov_Licence_V3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogsnew.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Climate_Change_Open_Gov_Licence_V3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31148\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n<h6><em>image for illustration<\/em><\/h6>\n\n<h3>Arts Council England (ACE) and Historic England (HE) are looking for up to 4 micro, small or medium sized non-national cultural or heritage organisations manage, use or occupy a listed building, to 23\/09.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Lucy Brown, Operations and Engagement Manager, Historic Environment Forum writes:\u00a0<br \/><br \/>Arts Council England (ACE) and Historic England (HE) are looking for up to 4 micro, small or medium sized non-national cultural or heritage organisations that manage, use or occupy a listed building.\u00a0 Selected organisations will be participating in a project (November 2024 \u2013 March 2025) to develop guidance to help demystify and provide clarity on the steps and processes involved in commissioning surveys and decarbonising their buildings.<\/p>\n<p>The project will fund the full cost of a range of surveys and assessments based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/historicengland.org.uk\/advice\/technical-advice\/retrofit-and-energy-efficiency-in-historic-buildings\/whole-building-approach-for-historic-buildings\/\">whole building approach<\/a>.\u00a0 Participating organisations will benefit from a report outlining what suitable, balanced and well-integrated interventions are appropriate for that particular building and organisation.
