retired members\u2019, and for \u2018successful learning in heritage skills\u2019 \u2013 with awards of \u00a3500 and free places at IHBC\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/reading2024.ihbc.org.uk\/\">2024 Annual School in Reading<\/a>, for presentations on June 14.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>IHBC President Mike Brown said: \u2018Please do nominate someone deserving that you know, so they can be thanked and celebrated as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The IHBC Marsh Award for Community Contribution (Retired Member)<\/strong> is offered to celebrate the contribution of a retired IHBC member to the community (e.g. through BPT involvement, neighbourhood planning, civic and local trusts with heritage interests).Nominate for <a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-retired\/\">RETIRED IHBC<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>IHBC Marsh Award for Successful Learning in Heritage Skills<\/strong> is designed to recognise the contribution of an individual for their significant learning in traditional building activities and craft skills.Nominate for <a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-learning\/\">SUCCESSFUL LEARNING<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2018I know it does take a little effort, but could make all the difference to nominee and covering the following points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a brief description of what the activities contributed to the sector and\/or of the skills mastered (max 500 words)<\/li>\n<li>how the individual made a difference to the benefit of the historic environment and\/ or community through these activities or skills<\/li>\n<li>supporting information, such as a pictures, documents or website references relating to the nomination, which can be uploaded to the online form or included with the postal form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are not able to complete an online application, you
