{"id":3840,"date":"2012-03-09T14:04:31","date_gmt":"2012-03-09T14:04:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=3840"},"modified":"2012-03-12T18:06:18","modified_gmt":"2012-03-12T18:06:18","slug":"efap-call-for-papers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=3840","title":{"rendered":"EFAP: Call for papers!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The European Forum for Architectural Policies (EFAP) is calling for papers in the framework its project Underconstructions for a book to be published soon and launched at the Venice Biennale of Architecture 2012. with a deadline of 26 March.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">EFAP writes<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p>Underconstructions is an observatory of innovative architectural and urban processes in Europe\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026That reflects on the changes happening in the field of architecture at large, including urban and landscape design<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;That identifies problems and issues in regards to living and working conditions while reflecting on social engagement and civil involvement<\/p>\n<p>\u2026That provides a meeting space for the increasing number of groups committed to improving urban, landscape and architecture processes<\/p>\n<p>\u2026That pursues finding new methods of collaboration between entrepreneurs, architects, and designers<\/p>\n<p>\u2026That acts as a catalyst for public discourse by creating a database of accumulated experiments, observations, and investigations<\/p>\n<p>\u2026That advocates the improvement of regulations for architectural creation and finding solutions to the issues of social justice as well as ecology and economic crises\u2026<\/p>\n<p>That provides the means to exchange and disseminate information as well as experience.<\/p>\n<p>Underconstructions is a unique opportunity to promote engaged, imaginative, unexpected architectural and spatial design.<\/p>\n<p>If you are an architect, group of architects, artist, inhabitant, cooperative, politician or client; send us a paper (3000 characters)! With your contribution you will help to gather, analyze and support innovative initiatives in Europe!
