One of the oldest and most iconic features of the Paris skyline is set to rise again.<\/p>\n

The spire of Notre-Dame de Paris, which went up in flames and dramatically collapsed during the massive fire of 2019, is in the midst of being rebuilt, a symbolic milestone in the nearly $900 million refurbishment of the Gothic cathedral that\u2019s finally nearing the home stretch\u2026<\/p>\n

By the end of this year, if all goes according to plan, one of the most critical parts of the building\u2019s resurrection will be complete: the installation of the solid oak beam framework of the soaring steeple\u2026.<\/p>\n

A 21-member donors\u2019 committee has overseen the works and includes representatives of Bernard Arnault, the world\u2019s second-richest individual and head of luxury empire LVMH; Fran\u00e7oise Bettencourt Meyers, heiress to the L\u2019Or\u00e9al SA fortune and the richest woman; Fran\u00e7ois Pinault, founder of Gucci-owner Kering SA; and executives from major French companies like oil giant TotalEnergies SE, Sanofi and BNP Paribas SA. Also sitting at the table are the heads of various charities\u2026<\/p>\n
