\/><\/a>The Engine Shed, Historic Environment Scotland\u2019s (HES) dedicated building conservation centre in Stirling, will host a new programme of learning events for heritage professionals this autumn.<\/h3>\n<h6><em>image: HES<\/em><\/h6>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2026 aimed at graduates, heritage professionals and building practitioners from all disciplines\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n<p>HES writes:<\/p>\n<p>Five sessions will run during October and November, covering key areas and agendas within the heritage and built environment sector including building conservation, heritage planning, climate change, energy efficiency and retrofit and traditional building maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is aimed at graduates, heritage professionals and building practitioners from all disciplines interested in developing their knowledge and practice, in particular those who have entered the sector in the past few years or who are considering entry to the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Rachael Dorman, Technical Education and Training Programme Delivery Manager at HES, said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to offer this new programme of learning at the Engine Shed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As Scotland\u2019s dedicated building conservation centre, we are committed to helping meet skills needs across the sector and supporting knowledge sharing around key issues facing our built environment, such as the impacts of climate change and the retrofit and adaptive reuse of existing buildings.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe look forward to welcoming a range of different learners, from anyone responsible for a traditional building to those with a broader interest in building conservation, for what we hope will be valuable and
