IHBC members and others are encouraged to join the IHBC\u2019s Linkedin group as it now approaches 1000 members, while a special welcome will be offered to our 1000th member \u2013 subject to their agreement!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Group is \u2018owned\u2019 by the IHBC\u2019s past-chair Dave Chetwyn, and was started in August 2010.\u00a0 You do not need to be a member of the IHBC to join the Group as it is treated as a very open forum for discussion, but IHBC membership is encouraged, and IHBC members must observe the IHBC\u2019s Code of Conduct in their contributions.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The IHBC\u2019s Linkedin Group is promoted by the IHBC as an open forum to guide professional interest in the sector, so any comments by Group members should not be interpreted as IHBC policy.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Site statistics seem to broadly reflect the IHBC\u2019s own professional membership with some 60% in Architecture, Planning and Construction.\u00a0 The range of functions \u2013 with 55% at senior, manager or director level \u2013 may reflect the IHBC\u2019s professional membership rather than its entire current membership of 2200.<\/p>\n
