Edinburgh World Heritage writes:<\/p>\n

Edinburgh World Heritage is launching a Climate Emergency Grant that will provide funding to\u00a0private owners and public, private and third sector organisations\u00a0wishing to carry out targeted\u00a0energy efficiency improvements or climate change adaptation interventions alongside conservation repairs\u00a0in their properties \u2013 specifically involving\u00a0historic windows, doors and rainwater goods.<\/p>\n

Properties should be located in the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh World Heritage Site or in an adjoining area.<\/p>\n

The Climate Emergency Grant\u2019s objective is to implement a series of small-scale pilot projects that will help test sensitive solutions that suit the local context of the World Heritage Site and inform future guidance.<\/p>\n

Type of funding available<\/h2>\n

We can provide funding of\u00a0up to 100%\u00a0of grant eligible costs for the project design phase and\u00a0up to 70%\u00a0of grant eligible costs for approved works. The exact balance of funding will be specific to each project. Funding provided as part of the Climate Emergency Grant is\u00a0non-repayable.<\/p>\n

The maximum amount of Climate Emergency Grant we can offer per project is capped at \u00a325,000.<\/p>\n
