style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2026 Free 1-hour online guidance sessions on making an Affiliate application\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n<p>IHBC Director Se\u00e1n O\u2019Reilly and Operations Director Fiona Newton will lead the session, offering accessible advice on how to complete your application to demonstrate an \u2018awareness\u2019 level on all aspects of built and historic environment conservation.<\/p>\n<p>The session leads said: \u2018We will guide you through those same principles that we use in conservation accreditation assessment \u2013 for IHBC Associate and Full Member applications \u2013 but at an introductory level.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018So this is also a great way to get an initial grounding in our assessment for Affiliate applications.\u00a0 But you can also follow up these sessions with the more substantial support offered for accreditation applications in our \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/mate.ihbc.org.uk\/\">MATE<\/a>\u2019 sessions.\u2019<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2026 There has been a high success rate in recent achievable the Affiliate application actually is.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Remember too that Affiliate membership is aimed at assessing a very basic level of conservation across all practice areas identified in the IHBC\u2019s assessment.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018So these free sessions should help anyone at an early stage of the career as a conservation professional, as well as anyone who just wants to expand their understanding of conservation as an area increasingly recognised for its relevance in the built or historic environment in the 21st century.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We know will find the
