Calls for Papers<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/us2.campaign-archive.com\/?e=__test_email__&amp;u=a070a4d0cff28adddef6cffe7&amp;id=2678397b74#Awards\">Awards, Placements, Bursaries, &amp; Scholarships<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The IHBC writes:<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2026 five recent ICOMOS-UK Wood Forum CPD talks\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n<p>An extensive range of heritage and conservation CPD is on offer this autumn, in-person and online, and sometimes both, a format we describe as \u2018hybrid\u2019 in the Location column of our Circular.\u00a0 With the increasing amount of CPD recorded there is also the opportunity to watch much of it on catch-up.\u00a0 We\u2019ll include these opportunities on occasion, this month highlighting the ICOMOS-UK Conservation Committee which has made available links to five recent ICOMOS-UK Wood Forum CPD talks, available <a href=\"https:\/\/events.ihbc.org.uk\/?tribe_events=icomos-uk-wood-forum-online-talks\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As a supporting partner the IHBC warmly welcomes the just released \u2018<em>Investigation of moisture and its effects on traditional buildings: Principles and Competences<\/em>\u2019 Joint position statement, which can be accessed in our Toolbox <a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.org.uk\/toolbox\/docs\/JPS2022%20Investigation%20of%20moisture%20v3.pdf\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 Training and guidance on the \u2018<em>JPS<\/em>\u2019, as it is called in shorthand, is being offered by IHBC Trustee and Technical Panel Chair John Edwards via <a href=\"https:\/\/events.ihbc.org.uk\/?tribe_events=esc-investigation-of-moisture-and-its-effects-in-traditional-buildings-principles-and-competencies\">ESC<\/a> and by JPC author and IHBC member Duncan Phillips via <a href=\"https:\/\/events.ihbc.org.uk\/?tribe_events=rics-the-investigation-of-moisture-and-its-effects-in-traditional-buildings\">RICS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A reminder that the IHBC requires that its full members carry out 50 hours of appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in any two-year period.\u00a0 Use this CPD Circular to help source opportunities relevant to your own Development Plan.<\/p>\n<p>Please also note that the North West Branch CPD event <em>Adapting to Climate Change: Heritage and its Sustainable Future<\/em>, due to be held 5 October, has had to be postponed due to potential rail strikes.\u00a0 Watch for updates in the IHBC <a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/\">NewsBlogs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As always, to have your events posted to our <a href=\"https:\/\/events.ihbc.org.uk\/\">Events Calendar<\/a> and featured in this CPD Circular <a href=\"https:\/\/eepurl.com\/gEPoJ5\">sign up here<\/a> to become an IHBC Recognised CPD Provider, if you are not already<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"102\"><strong>Dates<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"397\"><strong>Provider &amp;
