All categories of IHBC members \u2013 Supporters, Affiliates, Associates and Full Members \u2013 are invited to join the IHBC\u2019s next free Council for members on 19 October, to include IHBC updates, Trustee (and Director) training for anyone, and our first IHBC Presidential (and Council Chair\/Vice Chair) elections.<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n
IHBC\u2019s Council is the IHBC\u2019s inclusive advisory and training body, with training as one of its key roles.\u00a0 At this next Council, which is virtual, we will introduce attendees to one of the most critical operations in the heritage sector \u2013 and in the IHBC \u2013 the roles and duties of trustees, and as relevant, company directors.<\/p>\n
The session will feature interactive practical training for trustees designed specifically to suit the Council\u2019s virtual forum \u2013 with breakout sessions too \u2013 while also addressing the needs of IHBC members, whether as charity trustees, company directors, or as members that work with – or are members of – a charity such as the IHBC.<\/p>\n
