Entries were judged on composition, originality and technical proficiency alongside the story behind the submission and its historical impact.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 Historic Photographer of the Year Awards are now <a href=\"https:\/\/https\/photographer.historyhit.com\/photohttps:\/photographer.historyhit.com\/grapher.historyhit.com\/\">open for entries<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>2021 Shortlisted entries in the Historic England Category [shown].<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cThese awards celebrate the most fascinating and stunning historic places in the world and inspire other budding photographers to get involved. I\u2019m delighted to be a judge once again.
