IHBC Director Se\u00e1n O\u2019Reilly said: \u2018Our 25th<\/sup> anniversary year \u2013 #IHBC25<\/a> – is a fitting time to savour our best achievements, but also to move them forward.\u00a0 And our NewsBlog etc.<\/em> news service and linked email alerts \u2013 started back in October 2007<\/a> – has been one of our most valuable, even ground-breaking member resources\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Now we\u2019ve given the email alerts an extra facelift, to make them even more accessible and user-friendly to mobile users especially, or so we hope.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Today only the headlines for the IHBC NewsBlog\u2019s<\/a> news appear in your email alerts, because members will probably know more about their news context.\u00a0 This helps busy users scan core content faster, and see if they need to click through to the full web post.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018For the non-IHBC, or \u2018Sector<\/a>\u2019 NewsBlog alerts, we are continuing to include the supporting paragraph that follows the headline, as that offers members key details, from lead players and context to closing dates and costs and the like.<\/em>\u2019<\/p>\n
