{"id":3334,"date":"2011-11-04T15:53:53","date_gmt":"2011-11-04T15:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=3334"},"modified":"2011-11-04T15:53:53","modified_gmt":"2011-11-04T15:53:53","slug":"heritage-open-days-transfer-completed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=3334","title":{"rendered":"Heritage Open Days transfer completed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">England\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Heritage Open Days<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">, the great annual celebration of our heritage, has moved into a new phase as the responsibility for the central co-ordinating services passed from English Heritage to the <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">new national partnership<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> of The Heritage Alliance, Civic Voice and the National Trust, as 2012\u2019s Heritage Open Days will run from 6 &#8211; 9 September.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In January applications were invited from interested parties to undertake the national co-ordination of the programme, which English Heritage will continue to fund until March 2015. The strength of the successful partnership bid lay in smooth transition together with an emphasis on sustaining local and volunteer commitment.
