href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-retired\/\">civic contributions<\/a>\u00a0by retired members, and for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-learning\/\">successful learning<\/a>\u00a0in heritage skills \u2013 with prizes that include \u00a3500 and a free place at the IHBC\u2019s Aberdeen\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aberdeen2022.ihbc.org.uk\/\">2022 Annual School<\/a> in June, and with a closing date of 31 March 2022.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2026 celebrate the contribution of a retired IHBC member to the community\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2026 recognise the contribution of an individual for their significant learning in traditional building\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n<p>IHBC President Mike Brown said: \u2018Please do nominate someone deserving that you know, so they can be thanked and celebrated as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The IHBC Marsh Award for Community Contribution (Retired Member)<\/strong>\u00a0is offered to celebrate the contribution of a retired IHBC member to the community (e.g. through BPT involvement, neighbourhood planning, civic and local trusts with heritage interests): Nominate\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-retired\/\">RETIRED IHBC<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>IHBC Marsh Award for Successful Learning in Heritage Skills\u00a0<\/strong>is designed to recognise the contribution of an individual for their significant learning in traditional building activities and craft skills: Nominate for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-learning\/\">SUCCESSFUL LEARNING<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2018I know it does take a little effort, but could make all the difference to someone\u2019s life skills or cherished projects.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018And to nominate, all you need do is complete an easy-fill form\u2019.<\/p>\n<h2>How to nominate<\/h2>\n<p>Visit the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.org.uk\/marshawards\/\">IHBC\u2019s Marsh Awards<\/a>\u00a0website for full details and to complete the online form\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-retired\/\">RETIRED<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-learning\/\">LEARNING<\/a>, giving details of the nominee and covering the following points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a brief description of the activities contributed or the skills mastered (max 500 words),<\/li>\n<li>how the individual made a difference to the benefit of the historic environment and\/ or community through these activities or skills.<\/li>\n<li>supporting information, such as a pictures, documents or website references relating to the nomination, which can be uploaded to the online form or included with the postal form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are not able to complete an online application, you can download an application form in
