The recruitment process to  find Hastilow\u2019s replacement has already begun, with an appointee  intended to be in post by the autumn. In a statement, Sunand Prasad, the  RIBA president, described Hastilow as a \u201cman of unimpeachable  principles\u201d. \u00a0He said: \u201cRichard Hastilow has revolutionised the way the  RIBA works. As a result, the institute has become truly outward-facing  as befits its charter obligations and carries far more weight in public  life.
