\u2026 The IHBC Jobs etc.\u2019<\/a> service reaches a uniquely diverse heritage network\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

IHBC Director Sean O\u2019Reilly said: \u2018Our headline \u2018heads up\u2019 for this round of our \u2018Jobs etc<\/em><\/a>\u2019 career <\/em>service <\/em>includes a strong and diverse showing from the charity sector: SPAB\u2019s, for Casework; Port Sunlight Village Trust, for a \u2018Conservation and Maintenance Manager\u2019, and administration at The Spitalfields Historic Buildings Trust.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Inevitably such \u2018<\/em>Jobs etc<\/em><\/a>\u2019 <\/em>posts <\/em>reflect the exceptionally wide spectrum of roles encompassed in the skills sets represented in the<\/em> IHBC Areas of Competence (AOCs)<\/a> .\u00a0 Such practice areas are detailed in our MATE<\/a> application support sessions and guidance, and in the model we use to assess interdisciplinary competence in line with international conservation practice standards<\/a>\u2019, our Conservation Cycle<\/a>.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Capturing this same broad diversity of career routes and practices, this round we also have posts from the private sector \u2013 such as Countryside Consultants\u2019 call for an Architect \u2013 as well as a strong list of public sector roles.\u00a0 These last include Conservation Officers at Bath & NE Somerset as well as High Peak & Staffordshire Moorlands; Leicester (Building CO); Newport (Historic Building CO); Sheffield (Conservation and Design).\u2019<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the call from Buckinghamshire for a Heritage Officer suggests a role that may well look more to the Evaluation AOC.<\/p>\n

Complementary roles in the private sector remain diverse but, but in posts around holidays, are understandably more scarce, They include two at ICENI (Senior Consultant and Director\/Associate \u2013 Built Heritage and Townscape) and one at Lichfields\u2019 Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment (TVIA) \u2013 Consultant\/Senior Consultant post.<\/p>\n

Taken together, our most recent posts clearly demonstrate the strong and extensive fundamentals to offer long-term prospects to those planning careers in the sector.<\/p>\n
