{"id":32179,"date":"2022-01-07T18:03:41","date_gmt":"2022-01-07T18:03:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsblogsnew.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=32179"},"modified":"2022-01-07T18:03:41","modified_gmt":"2022-01-07T18:03:41","slug":"new-5m-fund-launched-to-celebrate-the-queens-platinum-jubilee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=32179","title":{"rendered":"New \u00a35M fund launched to celebrate the Queen\u2019s platinum jubilee"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-32180\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/UK_Community_Foundation_070122.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"237\" \/>A new \u00a35million programme will support community and voluntary organisations in England to develop creative and cultural activities as part of the Queen\u2019s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2026 Applicants will be able to apply for grants of up to \u00a310,000 and are encouraged to partner\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n<p>UK Community Foundations(UKCF) writes:<\/p>\n<p>UKCF is pleased to be working with Arts Council England to distribute a new fund which will enable communities to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen\u2019s Platinum Jubilee through culture and creativity.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Let\u2019s Create Jubilee Fund\u00a0is a \u00a35 million programme that will support community and voluntary organisations in England to develop creative and cultural activities as part of Her Majesty The\u00a0Queen\u2019s Platinum Jubilee\u00a0celebrations in June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is made possible with funding from the National Lottery, whose players raise \u00a330 million for good causes every week.\u00a0 UKCF will be managing the fund\u2019s distribution on behalf of our\u00a0community foundation members across England.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants will be able to apply for grants of up to \u00a310,000 and are encouraged to partner with established artists, creatives and cultural organisations to develop their activities. We want to ensure that The Queen&#8217;s Platinum Jubilee celebrations give people throughout England the chance to experience the best of the country\u2019s culture, while also celebrating an important milestone in our national history.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re giving people across the country the chance to come together to experience the joy of culture and creativity in celebration of this historic milestone.
