\u2026. Coldstones Cut, designed by London-based sculptor Andrew Sabin, looks intriguingly surreal from the ground level too.<\/p>\n

It’s like an urban street, complete with a paved surface, a flagged pavement, bollards and yellow no parking lines, not to mention a red mini-roundabout.<\/p>\n

The ‘street’ section with its tapering walls is orientated to frame the spectacular views at each end.<\/p>\n

From the road protrude two snail-like shells which you can walk up and appreciate panoramic views of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and into the enormous Coldstones Quarry.<\/p>\n

As Coldstones Quarry is still in use it’s also a good place for children to watch diggers and other colossal earthmoving vehicles in action.<\/p>\n
