{"id":3172,"date":"2011-09-27T16:44:47","date_gmt":"2011-09-27T16:44:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=3172"},"modified":"2011-09-27T16:46:56","modified_gmt":"2011-09-27T16:46:56","slug":"waterways-partnerships-seeks-chairs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=3172","title":{"rendered":"Waterways Partnerships seeks Chairs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"yui_3_2_0_1_13170433849911425\"><strong id=\"yui_3_2_0_1_13170433849911442\"><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Last year the Government announced that British Waterways will transfer to a New Waterways Charity (NWC) and the new Charity, whose name will be announced shortly and which will be up and running by April 2012, is now seeking 5 Waterways Partnership Chairs, with a closing date of 11 October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Chairs are sought for in Manchester &amp; Pennines, North Wales &amp; Borders, South Wales &amp; Severn, All Wales (Welsh waterways in North &amp; South Wales) and Kennet &amp; Avon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Charity Trustees and Council, the postholders will be the lead ambassadors for their Waterways Partnership and shape the future of waterways in their area.
