They could cover an area like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>food<\/li>\n<li>transport<\/li>\n<li>energy<\/li>\n<li>waste and consumption<\/li>\n<li>the natural environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You do\u00a0not\u00a0need to be an expert in any of these areas to apply. We\u2019re particularly interested to hear from people\u00a0starting\u00a0to think about taking action on climate change in their communities.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2021, the UK will host the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ukcop26.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26)<\/a>\u00a0in Glasgow. The UK Government\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/together-for-our-planet.ukcop26.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Together for Our Planet<\/a>\u00a0initiative has been created to engage people with COP26 and inspire positive climate action. National Lottery funding will support this by helping communities to take action on climate change.<\/p>\n<p>Building on interest and excitement for this international conference, we hope to nurture and develop local ideas through this funding, supporting a legacy of ongoing climate action projects in hundreds of communities across the UK.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Area UK-wide<\/li>\n<li>Suitable for Voluntary or community organisations<\/li>\n<li>Funding size \u00a31,000 to \u00a310,000<\/li>\n<li>Total available \u00a32.5 million<\/li>\n<li>Application deadline 5pm on 18 November 2021<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk\/funding\/programmes\/together-for-our-planet#section-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read more&#8230;.<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&#8230;.Application deadline: 5pm on Thursday 18 November 2021.
