Welcome to this special edition update of the IHBC\u2019s dedicated virtual 2021 Brighton School<\/a> CPD Circular\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Headline updates include new MarketPLace stalls<\/a> with, among other arrivals,<\/a> a special welcome to our partners and the School\u2019s Principal Sponsor, MFL Affinity<\/a>.\u00a0 The MFL Affinity<\/a> stall will guide delegates on covers and claims in Professional Indemnity Insurance.<\/p>\n

Another new development is the welcome to delegates from Lord Kerslake<\/a>, a central player across the School\u2019s themes integrating \u2018historic places\u2019 and \u2018people places\u2019.\u00a0 Previous senior posts extend from local to central government and beyond, and his role now as Vice Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group<\/a> on Conservation, Places and People (CPP APPG)<\/a>.\u00a0 If you join the MarketPlace Stall exploring our role as CPP APPG secretariat<\/a>, you\u2019ll understand better the huge challenges faced!<\/p>\n

We also now offer Single Session Options for the Thursday<\/a> webinars, for only \u00a310+VAT, and you can extend that booking even to cover the School\u2019s 2 days if you want!<\/p>\n

The Circular<\/em> hopefully captures the range of our School CPD, but less obvious is the diverse learning platforms and arrangements to ease the burdens of screen-time or other commitments.\u00a0 These include live attendance of course, with questions and debate opportunities, both more formal (Friday<\/a>) and informal (Thursday<\/a>).\u00a0 We offer pre-School question facilities<\/a> – with free place prizes<\/a> to inspire you \u2013 and session recordings, all especially useful for those not able to attend a live session.\u00a0 The huge diversity of MarketPLace stalls<\/a> offers even more variety in your experience, from discussion and challenge to demos and maybe even 1-to-1, with most stalls using accessible Zoom sessions.<\/p>\n

Delegates should take particular note that attendance at all or any broadcasts is not essential; recording and resources will be available after the School, but only to those who\u2019ve booked!<\/p>\n
