As the practice of retrofitting historic and traditional buildings for increased energy efficiency becomes more prevalent, it is crucial to ensure competence in all aspects of the analysis, design, and installation of measures.<\/p>\n

The IHBC\u2019s Professional Services Officer, Michael Netter, said: \u2018We\u2019re very excited to offer this short, informative CPD session where we aim to help our members gain understanding in this extremely important and topical subject.\u00a0 Booking numbers so far have been outstanding in what I see as a very encouraging sign that our membership is engaged and interested in furthering their professional development.\u00a0 We\u2019re looking forward to producing more like it in due course.\u2019<\/p>\n

Mr. Edwards says: \u2018It’s important that individuals understand how to go about improving the energy performance of traditional and historic buildings and how to move from one stage to the next.<\/p>\n
