{"id":2931,"date":"2011-07-12T09:47:14","date_gmt":"2011-07-12T09:47:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=2931"},"modified":"2011-07-12T09:47:14","modified_gmt":"2011-07-12T09:47:14","slug":"marsh-awards-for-heritage-crafts-2011-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=2931","title":{"rendered":"Marsh Awards for Heritage Crafts 2011 open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The\u00a0Heritage Crafts Association (HCA) and the\u00a0Marsh Christian Trust\u00a0have launched two new Awards for the heritage crafts sector, each with a deadline of\u00a031 October 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Awards aim to recognise and celebrate the exceptional individuals that contribute so much to our rich living heritage, to encourage the conferment of skills from one generation to another, and to acknowledge the great work that volunteers do to raise the profile of heritage crafts across the\u00a0UK. This year there will be two Awards, each with a prize of \u00a3500 \u2013 one for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.heritagecrafts.org.uk\/marshawards.html\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Trainers<\/span><\/a>, and one for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.heritagecrafts.org.uk\/marshawards.html\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Volunteers<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The winners will be announced and presented with their cheque and certificate at the HCA Spring Conference, in\u00a0March 2012\u00a0at the Victoria &amp; Albert Museum.
