\u2026 APPG\u2019s first open, public or \u2018Town Hall\u2019 event, on \u2018Contested Heritage\u2026<\/span><\/h2>\n

The IHBC writes:<\/p>\n

The IHBC\u2019s newly named \u2018Membership Matters\u2019<\/em> circular updates members on recent meetings of \u2013 and reports to \u2013 IHBC trustees.\u00a0 It provides more member-focussed context to developments announced, often with more detail, on our NewsBlog<\/a> news service.<\/p>\n

This issue covers the period from October 2020, to January 2021, which includes the momentous 2020 AGM<\/a>, our first virtual AGM<\/a> and where we adopted<\/a> our new Articles of Association<\/a> as well as our updated Corporate Plan<\/em> for 2020-25 (CP25<\/a>).\u00a0 Alongside that, we have had two board meetings while also planning and agreeing the evolving plans for the 2021 Annual School<\/a> \u2013 including the new CPD-led Heritage MarketPlace, pre-figured at the AGM.\u00a0 The IHBC also supported the progress of the new All Party Parliamentary Group<\/a> (APPG) on Conservation, Places and People<\/a>(\u2018CPPAPPG\u2019) through a Planning White Pape briefing<\/a>, while also launching its first Inquiry<\/a> \u2013 into \u201821st Century Places: Values and benefits\u2019<\/a> \u2013 and, just now, agreed support for the APPG\u2019s first open, public or \u2018Town Hall\u2019 event, on \u2018Contested Heritage\u2019, shortly to be formally announced.<\/p>\n
