The historic environment has a  positive role to play, and the IHBC is the body best placed to lead the  thinking that is required to secure the real potential historic  environment&#8217; he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Walker, IHBC East Midlands  Branch Chair and co-organiser said &#8216;Expert speakers will look for  practical solutions to promote the sustainability of historic buildings.  The School will let people hear about current initiatives and new  approaches to mitigating climate change and its impacts. We will gain  insights from recent projects and consider ways of adapting and<br \/>\nenhancing  our historic environment&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The main venue is the 4 star Palace  Hotel in the historic spa town of Buxton, at the heart of Derbyshire\u2019s  Peak District, combining stunning scenery with magnificent architecture.
