\"\"<\/a>The IHBC\u2019s Marsh Awards<\/a>, developed in partnership with the Marsh Christian Trust, has launched the two 2021 Awards \u2013 for civic contributions by retired members, and for successful learning in heritage skills \u2013 with prizes that include \u00a3500 and a free place at the IHBC\u2019s Brighton 2021 Annual School<\/a>, and with a new closing date of 31 March 2021.<\/h3>\n

\u2026 nominate candidates for the IHBC Marsh Awards\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

IHBC President Mike Brown is calling on members and networks to nominate candidates for the 2021 IHBC Marsh Awards for \u2018Successful Learning in Heritage Skills\u2019, and for \u2018Community Contribution (Retired Member of the IHBC)\u2019.<\/p>\n

Mike Brown said: \u2018The nomination process is extremely simple, while the winners are recognised with cash awards of \u00a3500 and a free place at the IHBC\u2019s Annual School \u2013 subject to COVID-19 restrictions of course.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018For the winning learner, both the funding and the education from the School \u2013 even if a largely virtual one – could be a critical step-up in their trade or career. For retired members of the IHBC (all categories), if the cash award is not a priority, it might be donated to \"\"<\/a>another deserving cause \u2013 including the IHBC\u2019s CREATIVE Conservation Fund<\/a> \u2013 while also raising the profile of their good work.\u2019<\/h3>\n

\u2026 recognise the contribution of an individual for their significant learning in traditional building activities and craft skills\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n
