Cambridge \u2018bunny-huggers\u2019 beware!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">In Cambridge <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">regulations governing new developments, including the need for historic environment surveys, are to be swept aside from July 1 in a purge designed to get Fenland building again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Relaxation of rules around sustainability and listed buildings still meant retaining a sustainable and practical approach \u2018but we won\u2019t dwell too much on the scriptures of the new religion\u2019 Cllr Melton said last night at the 4th annual Cambs Times\/Wisbech Standard\/Fenland Council Building and Design Awards final.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The bunny huggers won\u2019t like this but if they wish to inspect a site, they can do it when the footings are being dug out,\u2019 he told more than 100 guests at Wisbech Boat House.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cllr Melton said: \u2018I can announce tonight, that from the 1st July. A requirement for an Archaeological dig\/survey will not be required.
