The Fund is aimed specifically at ensuring or increasing access to key services and activities for beneficiaries who have struggled with access due to Covid-19. The Foundation will also consider supporting programmes which provide access for beneficiaries to new services which have been developed in response to a clear Covid-19 need.<\/p>\n<p>The value of the Fund is \u00a31.4million, which we will give to organisations nationally working within our key domains:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Healthcare Innovation<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Organisations in the fields of disability, medical research, mental health and those supporting individuals with long-term health conditions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Community<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Organisations working with young people, especially those considered disadvantaged, delivering support to those disproportionately affected by Covid-19 and\/or those working to support isolated older people.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Environment<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Organisations working in the area of horticulture and conservation which have been significantly financially impacted by the closure of venues.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Arts<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Organisations working in the area of arts, health and well-being where services and programmes are being adapted to benefit communities impacted by Covid-19.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications should align with the Foundation\u2019s key aims and objectives and also reflect the Peter Sowerby Foundation\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.petersowerbyfoundation.com\/foundation%E2%80%99s-aims-and-ethos\">ethos on innovation and impact<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications must be with us by 5pm on Monday 16th November.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Increasing Access Funding Strands<\/h2>\n<div class=\"paragraphs_area\">\n<div class=\"paragraphs-items paragraphs-items-field-page-sections paragraphs-items-field-page-sections-full paragraphs-items-full\">\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-page-sections field-type-paragraphs field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"paragraphs-item paragraphs-item-background paragraphs-item-accordion\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-sm-10 col-sm-offset-1\">\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-paragraphs-accordion field-type-text-long field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p>There are three funding strands to which you might seek to apply\u00a0(please note you can only make one application to the Foundation for funding).<\/p>\n<h3>1. Adapted Good Causes Grants<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraphs-item paragraphs-item-transparent paragraphs-item-text-block\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-sm-8 col-sm-offset-2\">\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-pg-text-block field-type-text-long field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<h2>Application Process<\/h2>\n<p>If, having read the criteria for the funding streams, you feel that your project will be of interest to us as part of our Increasing Access Fund, then we would welcome your Expression of Interest.
