Building <\/em>writes:<\/p>\n

\u2026 A coalition of construction professionals have written to business and energy minister Kwasi Kwarteng asking for a meeting to discuss the government\u2019s \u2018woeful\u2019 approach to the climate emergency.<\/p>\n

The government\u2019s policies fall short of the actions necessary to prevent, irreversible climate change, they said.<\/p>\n

Construction Declares \u2013 which incorporates Civil Engineers Declare, Architects Declare, Structural Engineers Declare, Building Services Engineers Declare and represents 1,500 UK companies \u2013 sent a letter to prime minister Boris Johnson in July outlining green recovery opportunities presented by the covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
