We welcome your participation in our survey about work and skills associated with the construction sector’s contribution to the UK’s commitment to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions…..<\/p>\n

While\u00a0we\u00a0continue to grapple with the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic it\u00a0can\u00a0be easy to forget we are still in the grip of a climate emergency. The\u00a0need\u00a0to act on climate seems more pressing than ever. The UK Government is\u00a0legally bound\u00a0to reduce emissions to net zero by 2050, which will require\u00a0a huge shared effort.\u00a0It\u00a0means we will need to change the way we operate our businesses and\u00a0how\u00a0we build.\u00a0New markets and opportunities will\u00a0open up\u00a0for businesses that are ahead of the game.<\/p>\n

But what does net zero mean for you and your business?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

CITB is working with government to understand the support that industry needs to decarbonise the built environment and we will publish our findings and recommendations later in the year. This is a key opportunity to influence this work and shape the support you need.<\/p>\n
