NTS writes:<\/p>\n
As lockdown\u00a0begins to ease across Scotland,\u00a0the Trust is\u00a0sharing plans\u00a0for a phased reopening of\u00a0properties, in line with\u00a0the Scottish Government\u2019s \u2018route map\u2019 out of lockdown.<\/p>\n
Barriers are already being lifted at\u00a0some\u00a0key countryside properties, such as Corrieshalloch Gorge and Ben Lawers, for local access\u00a0(within 5 miles).<\/p>\n
We expect that access to other types of properties and travel from further afield will be possible\u00a0under Stage 3 of the route map.<\/p>\n
Staff are\u00a0planning\u00a0for this now, making sure processes are in place to ensure people\u2019s safety\u00a0and to uphold social distancing, particularly in enclosed grounds and gardens. These\u00a0may reopen in\u00a0late June or early\u00a0July, with some\u00a0built heritage properties following\u00a0in\u00a0mid-August.<\/p>\n
Due to the impact of the coronavirus epidemic on our charity, we\u2019re phasing\u00a0the reopening of our places over the coming months\u00a0with around half\u00a0due to open again\u00a0later this year, more\u00a0in spring 2021, and\u00a0a few remaining closed\u00a0until 2022.<\/p>\n
