After much (and ongoing) discussion with our community of thousands of local organisers, we are delighted to confirm that the festival will go ahead for 11-20 September.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>We\u2019re excited to announce that online events will be offered for the first time\u00a0as well as any in-person opportunities possible within government guidelines at the time of the festival. Communities will be able to celebrate the stories of the places and spaces that are important to them in new and innovative ways. Visitors will be able to participate in activities much further afield to explore even more hidden places and local gems from the comfort and security of their armchair.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Organisers \u2013 taking part<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registration will be temporarily closed whilst we adapt the system to suit the new festival format. As ever, all organisers will be kept up to date with plans and progress. To help you find them we\u2019re adapting our website to make it easier for you to search the listings.
