The IHBC will sit alongside a wide range  of government, business, academic and 3rd sector bodies with related  planning interests.<\/p>\n<p>IHBC Chair Dave Chetwyn will represent the  IHBC on the Forum, a role he played previously on behalf of Planning  Aid. Mr Chetwyn said \u2018This will allow IHBC to contribute to current  debates on planning at national level. In particular, IHBC can provide a  cross-discipline perspective and help to ensure that place-making  considerations are properly integrated with strategic planning issues.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Dr  Se\u00e1n O\u2019Reilly, IHBC Director, said \u2018It is a real privilege to have the  importance of the work of our members, and our organisation, formally  recognised at this level. By helping shape the management of our valued  places, our presence on the NPF will make the work of our own members  that little bit easier, helping secure better quality places for all.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The  National Planning Forum aims to be recognised as a key agent for change  in delivering a better planning service.
