The Arts Council writes:<\/p>\n
Emergency measures and funding We are making \u00a3160 million of emergency funding?available?for those organisations and individuals who will need it during this crisis, and we have also changed the funding requirements for individuals and organisations currently in receipt of our funding\u2026..<\/p>\n Emergency funding package Funding for National Portfolio Organisations. We will be making \u00a390 million available to NPOs. \n<\/strong>Ensuring the people and organisations that make up our arts, museums and libraries are protected during the Coronavirus crisis is our number one priority.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>We will offer individuals and organisations working in the cultural sector new financial support during this crisis, totalling \u00a3160 million. We\u2019ve re-purposed all our investment strands to be able to offer this support. These emergency funding streams will be open to applications very soon.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>\u00a350 million will be made available to organisations that are not in receipt of regular funding from the Arts Council. Organisations who have applied to National Lottery Project Grants are welcome to apply for this support.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>We want to support artists, creative practitioners and freelancers as best we can in this crisis. We’re making \u00a320 million of financial support available to individuals, so they can better sustain themselves, and their work, in the coming months.<\/p>\n
