{"id":24905,"date":"2019-12-21T16:11:00","date_gmt":"2019-12-21T16:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=24905"},"modified":"2019-12-21T16:35:02","modified_gmt":"2019-12-21T16:35:02","slug":"ihbcs-all-you-need-to-know-for-christmas-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=24905","title":{"rendered":"IHBC\u2019s \u2018All you need to know for\u2026\u2019 Christmas update"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-20861 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IHBC_logo_horizontal-e1542817188203.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"65\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-11756\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/secretlondon-Purple-present-289x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"289\" height=\"300\" \/>There\u2019s lots happening in the IHBC just now, and in advance of more details on recent achievements and new plans in our forthcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/page55\/eletters\/index.html\">Membership eletter<\/a> update, here are some tasters to keep you ticking over during the break:<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=24864\">CP25 Stage 1 Consultation<\/a> on our evolving <em>Corporate Plan<\/em> for 2020-25, is under way with this first stage closing 1 January<\/li>\n<li>Our annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/news\/docs\/IHBC%20Corporate%20Plan%202015-20%20-%20'CP20'%20-%20Adopted%20AGM%2019%20June%202015.pdf\">CP20<\/a> update, from 2018-19 (Year 4 of 5), on progress with our current <em>Corporate Plan<\/em> for 2015-20 (CP20) is coming to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/page55\/eletters\/index.html\">NewsBlog<\/a> in the New Year<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=23221\">Constitutional update<\/a> is progressing well, following on from the membership\u2019s wholesale support for the \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/governance\/files\/Proposal%20for%20future%20governance%20final%20v5%20160319.pdf\">Future Governance<\/a>\u2019 proposals presented by James Caird to the Nottingham AGM in July. The current draft update on the IHBC\u2019s constitution will be out for consultation in early January, informed by an accessible briefing.<\/li>\n<li>Our \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=24699\">Local delivery (Branch) CPD training pilot<\/a>\u2019, supporting priority CPD areas, will open to calls from Branches early in 2020<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/join\/index.html\">Application support<\/a>, from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/mate\/\">MATE<\/a>s to \u2018MAGE\u2019s, is evolving as Ramona Usher continues to build on Kate Kendall\u2019s work on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/mate\/\">MATE programme<\/a>. Free Membership Application Training Events \u00a0&#8211; MATE sessions \u2013 are on offer to Branches and employers , while Ramona is also leading on developing a second stage programme for the more detailed \u2018crit\u2019-style review of submissions.\u00a0 These are being developed as our \u2018Membership Accreditation Guidance Events\u2019, or MAGE sessions!<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced services for <a href=\"https:\/\/hespr.ihbc.org.uk\/\">HESPR<\/a> members \u2013 the support service for bodies working to conservation and service standards expected by the IHBC \u2013 continue to progress, with a map-based listing of Office locations of HESPR Designated Service Advisers launched during the year and ever-improving <a href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/ihbc\/ihbc-hespr-notification-25-april-1633011?e=[UNIQID]\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>News and Tender Alerts<\/em><\/a>.
