Nominate a volunteer today!<\/p>\n<p>At Heritage Day 2019, the key event in the heritage sector calendar, the winner will receive a framed original Pugin-designed tile from the Palace of Westminster. They will also be invited to produce a five-minute video explaining their volunteering achievement to the audience and will be featured on the Alliance website and across social media. The winner receives up to \u00a3150 toward travel costs.<\/p>\n<p>We are grateful to Ecclesiastical Insurance for their support for this award.<\/p>\n<p>Criteria: Anyone can make a nomination, but only volunteers for Heritage Alliance member organisations listed here, or their member organisations, can be nominated.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations should demonstrate either:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>a) a significant achievement in the heritage sector:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Completed in the past 18 months by a volunteer or group of volunteers. Professional projects can be eligible for consideration provided they have been funded or managed by volunteer effort\u2019<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>b) an outstanding individual contribution to heritage over a period of years. The achievements or contributions must have made a real difference in bringing heritage to a wider audience, locally or nationally.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Process: Please submit, the form by email before Friday 4th October to Delphine Jasmin-Belisle, Development and Membership Manager at The Heritage Alliance &#8211; Development@theheritagealliance.org.uk<\/p>\n<p>Nominations will be shortlisted by The Heritage Alliance Chairman, Peter Ainsworth, Deputy Chairman, Ben Cowell, Henry Cleary, and CEO, Lizzie Glithero-West. This panel then recommends a winner for approval by the Heritage Alliance Board.
