We are heavily reliant on the continued support of organisations like yours to help us ensure that the efforts of these people are rewarded and celebrated.

We want our lists to reflect the diversity of today’s society and we greatly appreciate the continued efforts being made to increase the number of nominations for those who continue to be underrepresented, including women and black and ethnic minorities (BME). The only way to ensure that female and BME candidates are fully represented on any honours list is for us to continue to receive those nominations.

If you would like to nominate someone please complete the attached citation form and submit it to honours@culture.gov.uk by Friday 27 September 2019. You will note that the nomination form differs from the one used in the last few rounds. Cabinet Office has, from the BD20 round onwards, changed the form on which nominations need to be made. The DCMS Honours Team is therefore trialling a simplified version for you to complete and will transfer the information you provide into the new Cabinet Office form.

The DCMS Honours Team are on hand to answer any queries you may have about this change or any aspect of the honours process at honours@culture.gov.uk.

See more background at GOV.UK

For nominations see Gov.UK

See the long nomination form

Download the simplified form from DCMS with guidance

Download the blank simplified form

Government is calling for ‘potential candidates’ for the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours list, while also ‘trialling a simplified version’ of the nomination form, with a closing date of 27 September.

[5

post-23831","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-sector-newsblog
["GET
