{"id":2332,"date":"2011-02-04T16:02:27","date_gmt":"2011-02-04T16:02:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=2332"},"modified":"2011-02-04T16:02:27","modified_gmt":"2011-02-04T16:02:27","slug":"ciob-uk-researchers-miss-euro-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=2332","title":{"rendered":"CIOB: UK researchers miss Euro funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Construction body launches new database to help companies apply for cash<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\nUK construction companies can tap into at least \u00a3500m of European funding every year, estimates the\u00a0Chartered Institute of Building.<\/p>\n<p>The institute has said that too few companies are aware of the money available and has created an online database for members to search for research funding available at a local, national and European level.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the CIOB said: \u2018The data also shows that very few industry organisations are aware of the funding opportunities available, and ways to finance Innovation, Research and Development.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Peter Ball, a member of the CIOB innovation and research panel said: &#8220;Knowing the funding is there is only a small part of the challenge.
