\n<\/strong>Heritage Lottery Fund has launched a public consultation on the future of Lottery funding for heritage from 2013-2019, open until\u00a026 April 2011\u00a0with online submissions at LINK<\/a>

\nHLF says:
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Government\u2019s announcement of an increase in our share of Lottery good causes income from 16.7% to 20% by 2012-2013, amounting to around \u00a350 million extra money a year, was an extremely welcome boost for the UK\u2019s heritage. From 2013 to 2019 we will have an annual awards budget of around \u00a3300 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, reductions in central Government and local authority spending mean there will be significantly less public investment in heritage across the UK during the next four years.<\/p>\n

This consultation therefore comes at a time of continued turbulence and change for many of our customers and partners. Your views are important to us and will help us decide how we can best respond.<\/p>\n

We have set out our proposals on a range of issues, based on analysis of the emerging funding environment for heritage in the next few years, research and evaluation of the impact of our funding, and discussions with many other organisations, partners and funders.
