\"flyer\"<\/a>The School will cover a huge range of heritage-related risks, look at how that risk can be managed and addressed, and resilience developed.<\/p>\n

The focus of the School will include Fire, Structural failure, Mitigating the crime and terrorism risk, Heritage at Risk, Flooding, Law & Philosophy, providing some of the best value heritage learning and CPD around \u2013 up to 24 hours over the 3-day Full School, including networking, or up to 9 hours for the Day School and AGM.<\/p>\n

James Caird, IHBC Chair, said: \u2018I\u2019ve been lucky enough to be able to attend the Annual School every year for over a decade. They are a really good way of keeping up-to-date on all the latest in conservation and professional practice as well as an opportunity to keep up with old friends and colleagues and forge new professional networks.\u2019<\/p>\n

IHBC Education Secretary Andrew Shepherd said: \u2018IHBC Bursaries are available and competition for the available funds is strong. If you do want to apply for the bursary support to get there, start following the web guidance promptly, and with care. Remember too that some of our Branches also offer bursary support, and you can find out more from them direct.\u2019<\/p>\n

Chair of the Annual School\u2019s Branch Organising Committee Justin Webber said: \u2018Our local members are looking forward to welcoming visitors to Nottingham for what promises to be a real highlight of the year. The quality and range of talks on offer mean this will be a unique opportunity for people to transform their understanding of the subjects, with a particular focus on practical learning points that can be taken away and applied.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018The tours and extra events on offer will provide an opportunity to explore the region and get access to buildings and sites that are not normally available.\u2019<\/p>\n
