\"website\"<\/a>A user needs survey has been issued on a new OASIS system to \u2019quickly and simply assess the requirement for the different approaches and materials that will be required by the user community\u2019, which will remain open until the end of September.<\/h3>\n

OASIS HERALD writes:<\/p>\n

The public beta version of the new OASIS form (incorporating DES reporting for Scotland) will be available for use in March 2020. It is essential that on launch training\u00a0resources\u00a0will be in place.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0short survey has been created to quickly and simply assess the requirement for the different approaches and materials that will be required by the user community.<\/p>\n

As a key component within reporting strategies within England + Scotland, the new OASIS system is designed for use by the full spectrum of the heritage community (including professional, independent researchers, academics + curatorial) and includes modules for specialist recording including Geophysics and Built Heritage, and capacity for feeding information into the next generation of Research Frameworks. So even if you’ve never used the form before there is a likelihood you may use it in the future, so please take this opportunity to give us the feedback needed so that the new form is as easy to use as possible!<\/p>\n
