The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/befs.us10.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5ff5cbf27087a00bd9eec1b1a&amp;id=35aa2c5d9b&amp;e=9b45255665\">motion<\/a> gives further support to the cross party working group, chaired by Ben Macpherson MSP and secretariat provided by BEFS and the RICS (more information\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/befs.us10.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5ff5cbf27087a00bd9eec1b1a&amp;id=0f480d3ac1&amp;e=9b45255665\">here<\/a>), and it\u2019s good to see the Minister for Local Government and Housing voting in favour of a review of the relevant legislation.\u00a0The issue of tenement maintenance was recently presented at a meeting chaired by the Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs who also advised not to shy away from looking at amending legislation.
