{"id":18878,"date":"2018-05-01T17:48:55","date_gmt":"2018-05-01T16:48:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=18878"},"modified":"2018-05-01T17:48:55","modified_gmt":"2018-05-01T16:48:55","slug":"more-ihbc-members-with-benefits-lpocs-special-offer-listed-heritage-free-to-ihbc-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=18878","title":{"rendered":"More IHBC members with benefits: LPOC\u2019s special offer \u2013Listed Heritage FREE to IHBC members"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/LPOC_Logo_Magzine.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-18879\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/LPOC_Logo_Magzine.png\" alt=\"logo and image\" width=\"300\" height=\"139\" \/><\/a>The IHBC is delighted to announce that the Listed Property Owners\u2019 Club has agreed to provide free subscriptions to their <em>Listed Heritage<\/em> magazine to IHBC members on request.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>IHBC Director Se\u00e1n O\u2019Reilly said: \u2018One of the most valuable benefits IHBC membership offers is access to the full breadth of networks and stakeholders in our heritage \u2013 and recognising that breadth is the first step to ensure that our members\u2019 advice is as well informed as it can be!\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Owners of listed properties are the most substantial carers for, and critical stakeholders in, our designated heritage, so understanding the services and support networks is essential.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018With LPOC offering this resource to IHBC members, anyone keen to expand their knowledge of owners\u2019 interests can have ready access to a whole new resource, and for free!\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018And this is only the start.\u00a0 The next planned partnership with LPOC will be at their Property Show in Edinburgh on October 27th, where we will partner up again \u2013 nationally as well as, via our Scotland Branch, locally &#8211; to offer more free CPD to practitioners inside and outside the IHBC.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Peter Bell, LPOC Conservation Advisor and Full Member of the IHBC said: \u2018<em>Listed Heritage<\/em> is a high quality bi-monthly magazine covering the whole spectrum of heritage conservation issues including case studies, appeal casefile, technical and legal advice and a suppliers\u2019 directory. It also includes regular contributions from IHBC members, leading conservation practitioners, Historic England, Historic Environment Scotland and Cadw.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The Listed Property Owners\u2019 Club represents listed building owners from across Britain and is celebrating its 25th year in 2018. It actively campaigns on conservation issues. As well as administering the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Listed Property, the Club is running a series of workshops around the country in 2018 with Members of Parliament and the Heritage Minister.
