IHBC Director Se\u00e1n O\u2019Reilly said: \u2018Advertisements over the last few weeks have been posted by employers looking for a truly diverse range of staff with conservation-related skills\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018The posts range from the more familiar conservation and design adviser role, such as in Harrogate \u2013 with skills aligned with the international standards and interdisciplinary models so familiar in the IHBC\u2019s conservation accreditation – to roles that need access to softer, but no less critical, inter-disciplinary conservation skills, such as with designations, in Scotland, and the pro-active leadership and management role in church care as a DAC (Diocesan Advisory Committee) Secretary.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018For DAC Secretaries too, many will also know that the IHBC has already helped raise conservation profiles and upskill officers, in a partnership with ChurchCare, the Cathedral and Church Buildings Division of the Church of England.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Continuing, too, is the broad spread across private and public sector, with CgMs and Turley again making their regular \u2013 and welcome \u2013 use of the service, alongside the War Memorials Trust.\u2019<\/p>\n
