{"id":18643,"date":"2018-04-06T18:13:58","date_gmt":"2018-04-06T17:13:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=18643"},"modified":"2018-04-06T18:13:58","modified_gmt":"2018-04-06T17:13:58","slug":"cotacs-supporters-list-now-online-and-live","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=18643","title":{"rendered":"COTAC\u2019s \u2018Supporters\u2019 list now online and live\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/COTAC_supporters.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-18644\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/COTAC_supporters.png\" alt=\"COTAC website\" width=\"300\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a>COTAC, the Council on Training in Architectural Conservation, has published its new list of supporters on its web site, with logos linking to the diverse sector bodies from across the UK &#8211; large and small &#8211; that formally support COTAC\u2019s objectives.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>COTAC Chair Ingval Maxwell OBE, said: \u2018COTAC\u2019s aim is to advance the education and training of all those involved in the protection, preservation, and sustainability of the historic environment, and to provide knowledge and information in support of the arts and skills required to do so.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018In pursuing these charitable activities, COTAC relies heavily on the voluntary participation of organisational representatives from across the UK and beyond. It achieves this through enabling the regular 6-monthly pan-professional \u2018Edinburgh Group\u2019 meetings, and in the setting up of occasional short-term Working Groups focused on dealing with specific issues, such as its \u2018BIM4Conservation Group\u2019.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018In return, COTAC offers an increasingly supportive range of relevant e-learning materials and contact information.
