{"id":18151,"date":"2018-02-16T18:08:31","date_gmt":"2018-02-16T18:08:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=18151"},"modified":"2018-02-25T18:22:53","modified_gmt":"2018-02-25T18:22:53","slug":"ihbcs-annual-school-2018-belfast-21-3-june-day-school-lead-speakers-web-page-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=18151","title":{"rendered":"IHBC\u2019s Annual School 2018, Belfast 21-3 June: Day School lead speakers web page launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Belfast_website2018.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-18152\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Belfast_website2018.png\" alt=\"Belfast image\" width=\"300\" height=\"230\" \/><\/a>The Day School lead <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/belfast2018\/speakers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Speakers\u2019 web page<\/a> for the IHBC\u2019s 2018 School in Belfast \u2013 from 21-23 June and exploring \u2018Our Shared Heritage\u2019 \u2013 has been launched, highlighting speakers and topic areas, so now prospective delegates can see how the School\u2019s theme and topic areas relate to their CPD priorities.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>IHBC Northern Ireland Branch Chair and lead organizer Andrew McClelland said: \u2018The School\u2019s keynote speakers already represented the blend of local and international content pervading the programme, and with these new details, delegates now have plenty of insight to see specific CPD benefits and make preparations accordingly.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>James Caird, IHBC Chair, said: \u2018In these days of low resources, our School is increasingly relevant and cost-effective.\u00a0 Remember too that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/belfast2018\/venues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">getting to Belfast<\/a> from other parts of the UK is neither especially expensive nor difficult \u2013 it has good flight or ferry connections from most parts.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>IHBC Director Se\u00e1n O\u2019Reilly said: \u2018Our new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/belfast2018\/speakers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Speakers\u2019 page<\/a> offers links to speakers\u2019 online biographies as well as initial CPD reference links to their specialist interest areas.\u00a0 So if anyone wants to get a better idea of why, who and what about our Day School programme, that\u2019s all to hand.\u00a0 We\u2019ll be adding more CPD support as the information comes in, so do keep an eye on our NewsBlogs for updates.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018And as usual, the Full School programme \u2013 including CPD-focussed tours &#8211;
