\"\"<\/a>IHBC Branches can celebrate retired members who volunteer their time and skills with a nomination to the IHBC\u2019s Marsh Award for Community Contribution before 28 February, with \u00a3500 and a Full School place at our 2018 School in Belfast in June for the winner!\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

IHBC President David McDonald said: \u2018The\u00a0IHBC\u00a0Marsh\u00a0Award for Community Contribution (Retired Member of the IHBC)\u00a0is offered to celebrate the contribution of a retired IHBC member to the community, such as through BPT involvement, neighbourhood planning, civic and local trusts with heritage interests).<\/p>\n

\u2018The nomination process is extremely simple, while the winners are recognised with cash awards of \u00a3500 and a free full place at the IHBC\u2019s Annual School every June, where we present the awards. For retired members of the IHBC (all categories), if the cash is not a priority, it could be donated to another deserving cause, as well as raising its profile.\u2019<\/p>\n

He added: \u2018So please do consider promoting nominations or, for someone deserving that you know, completing the easy-fill form yourself.<\/p>\n

It does take a little effort, but could make all the difference to someone\u2019s life skills or cherished projects.\u2019<\/p>\n

Nomination forms must be submitted by February 28th each year.<\/p>\n
