{"id":1769,"date":"2010-09-11T11:59:33","date_gmt":"2010-09-11T11:59:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=1769"},"modified":"2010-09-11T11:59:33","modified_gmt":"2010-09-11T11:59:33","slug":"cabe-commissioners-keep-eh-links","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=1769","title":{"rendered":"CABE commissioners keep EH links"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><strong><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Rab Bennetts and Professor Sarah Wigglesworth have been appointed  CABE commissioners, while the reappointment of Joyce Bridges will  ensure CABE keep its strong links with English Heritage.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\nIn welcoming the announcement by DCMS Minister John Penrose MP, CABE\u2019s  chair Paul Finch said: &#8220;Sarah and Rab bring the kind of creative flair  and technical expertise that will help CABE to champion great  architecture and support others in creating great places.&#8221;<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nThe four year appointments will run from September 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Rab Bennetts OBE is co-founder of Bennetts Associates Architects , known  for its commitment to sustainable design. Recent projects include the  redevelopment of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon  and Edinburgh University&#8217;s Informatics and Humanities building. Rab is a  founder and on the board of the UK Green Building Council.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Wigglesworth MBE is a professor at Sheffield University.
