{"id":15950,"date":"2017-06-24T16:43:28","date_gmt":"2017-06-24T15:43:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=15950"},"modified":"2017-06-24T16:43:28","modified_gmt":"2017-06-24T15:43:28","slug":"ihbc-agm-2017-cultivating-new-officers-while-delivering-on-our-ambitions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=15950","title":{"rendered":"IHBC AGM 2017: Cultivating new officers while delivering on our ambitions\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/JamesC-e1485016690202.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-14739\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/JamesC-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"James Caird\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>The IHBC\u2019s 2017 Annual General Meeting saw the election of two new trustees to national posts in the institute &#8211; Jill Kerry (0472MEM NI) as IHBC Treasurer, and Andrew Shepherd, as IHBC Education Secretary, (1532MEM YO) \u2013 and new Branch representatives, while also re-electing those continuing in their roles, and thanking our outgoing officers.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>IHBC Chair James Caird said: \u2018Of course we are always sad to lose longstanding, proactive officers as volunteers \u2013 and our treasured Treasurer Richard Morrice fits that bill more than many \u2013 as well as more recently active volunteers that have opened up new opportunities for us, such as past Education Secretary Bridget Turnbull.
