IHBC Director Se\u00e1n O\u2019Reilly said: \u2018IHBC\u2019s Conservation Wiki is a publicly accessible service offering a unique interface to all aspects of construction.\u00a0 We encourage member to populate it with relevant content as well as to contribute to the development of existing articles.\u00a0 The \u2018Top 50\u2019 can also remind members that Designing Buildings Wiki is also a great starting point for our members own knowledge base and CPD.\u2019\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

IHBC writes:<\/p>\n

Conservation Wiki is part of the Designing Buildings Wiki platform created to make construction industry knowledge freely available to everyone. Anyone can create articles about subjects they know and find articles about subjects they don’t.<\/p>\n

Conservation Wiki is operated by the\u00a0Institute of Historic Building Conservation<\/a>. It provides a platform for sharing knowledge about the conservation of the built and historic environment, from the restoration of cathedrals to the management of conservation areas and retrofitting period, traditional and modern properties to improve their performance.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Where there are articles on Conservation Wiki that are owned and maintained by the IHBC, they are protected from editing and linked to their original source on the\u00a0IHBC website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
